Happy Wednesday Chicas!

This past couple of weeks have been totally crazy @ work, hence the lack of posting so I do apologize. This time a year is all about meeting the crazy deadlines and making the clients happy. I'm really looking forward to next month when things will calm down a bit and I'll get to check out all my favorite stores and see if anything exciting ends up in my closet. So stay tune for that!

By the way how was your weekend? I hope you had as much fun as I did. I got to attend the Lions & Leos Changeover Luncheon with my best friend A, he was inducted as the new president of the Leos Club of Grand Cayman this year (so very proud of you A). The luncheon took place at one of the favorite restaurants on island, Luca.

Funny enough for the 3rd year in a row I won prices, yay!!!

Ripped to Pieces

Hi Chicas,

This past weekend was all about relaxation. Last week was pretty hectic at the office since I missed a couple of work days, so Thursday and Friday zapped all my energy. Luckily I spent most of my Saturday getting pampered at the Spa (I love days like this). Sunday afternoon after a nice late lunch at Cimboco I met a friend for coffee. I hadn't wore jeans in a while  and I had been meaning to sport this new jeans I got from Gap, which I ended up turning into a DIY project because they felt a little boring and were also a size too big. So Sunday was the perfect opportunity to take them out for a spin.

Mini Time

How do you top an amazing trip to Trinidad & Tobago? Well you get off the plane and head to my favorite store, NKY Collections, and treat yourself to a pair of these, BCBGMaxazria Simone Textured Power Skirts. Yes that's exactly what I did last week. To be honest I always look forward to my trips into NKY Collections I always find the most amazing pieces there. 

I love these skirts because this summer I will wear pair them with all my fave' wedges and comes fall I will pair them with opaque tights and great pumps or boots. These makes them great investment pieces.

The first time I saw this Rachel Pally dress was a few months ago @ my favorite local boutique NKY Collections. I must say I contemplated buying the dress for a long time, but a few weeks ago I finally went in and tried it on and completely fell in utter love. Of course I had to purchase it right then and there. This dress makes such statement I decided to skip on the accessories and just let the dress shine. Sunday Brunch @ Luca

One of my préférée places to enjoy a perfect brunch on island is LUCA Restaurant, located at the Caribbean Club. They offer one of the greatest luxurious brunch experiences on the island. Of course I love playing dress up every time I attend on one of their scrumptious brunches.

Brighter Days Ahead

I'm totally guilty of suffering from a "nail polish obsession". (Thank-you so much Shawna for feeding my obsession). 

But what is a girlie girl to do with so many choices/shades out there. I find Spring perfect to experiment with all the colors in the market, but so far I've been drawn to these particular shades. They aren't all office appropriate, so I will have to "make it work" and sneak them in during the weekend.

Preppy Weekend
